Delta Electronics launches six new industrial automation products for advanced machines and systems.

Delta Electronics introduced six new automation products during a launch event held on May 18 at its Taoyuan Technology Center. The new products include the high-frequency, high-power Compact Drives MH300/MS300 Series, the Advanced Mid-range PLC AS300 Series, the high-performance AC Servo Drive ASDA-A3 Series, Linear Motion Products, the multi-camera Machine Vision System DMV2000, and Smart Sensors.

Delta’s Senior Vice President and Industrial Automation Business Group (IABG) General Manager, Simon Chang, said the global manufacturing sector is facing a turning point as industries upgrade to meet shorter product life cycles, diverse requirements, and higher precision demands. Manufacturers are increasingly seeking machines and equipment with greater performance and intelligent capabilities. He added that Delta continues to develop innovative automation technologies to help customers improve competitiveness with advanced, high-precision and high-speed automation solutions for machines and systems.

With improved performance and upgraded functions for industrial markets, Delta’s latest products are designed to be more efficient, intelligent and compact.

MH300 / MS300 Series Compact Drives
The MH300 and MS300 Series are high-frequency, high-power compact drives designed to reduce installation space. With up to 40% size reduction, they are the smallest AC motor drives offered by Delta. The drives support both IM and PM motors. The MH300 supports open- and closed-loop control, while the MS300 supports open-loop control. They also feature built-in PLC functions, multiple communication protocols, built-in brake choppers, and high-speed models with output frequencies of up to 2000Hz and 1500Hz.

AS Series Programmable Logic Controller
The AS Series PLC is a modular controller developed for automation machinery. It features a 32-bit System-on-Chip CPU, offering strong performance with a program capacity of 40k steps per millisecond. The controller supports up to 32 extension modules or a maximum of 1,024 I/O points. It can control up to eight axes through the CANopen motion network or six axes through pulse control at 200kHz.

ASDA-A3 Series AC Servo Drive
The ASDA-A3 Series servo drive is designed for advanced machines and motion systems. It provides built-in motion functions for PLC-based and PC-based motion control applications, including packaging, labelling and electronic assembly systems. The series features flexible algorithms and motion compensation to reduce vibration and improve efficiency. Its auto-tuning function simplifies setup and reduces adjustment time. The drive is 20% smaller than the previous ASDA-A2 series and includes a 3kHz frequency response and a 24-bit high-resolution absolute encoder, making it suitable for CNC control systems and precision applications.

Linear Motion Products
Delta’s linear motion portfolio includes direct drive motors, linear stages, mini actuators and customised motion platforms. These products deliver high speed, high precision and improved system stability. When integrated with Delta’s servo drives, they can be applied in automated optical inspection equipment, loading and unloading systems, feeders and high-speed assembly lines.

DMV2000 Machine Vision System
The DMV2000 Series supports synchronous inspection using multiple cameras. It enables high-speed and stable image capture and transmission to improve product quality and automation efficiency. The system features an intelligent interface and multifunction modules that shorten development time. It can be applied across industries such as industrial machinery, automotive, rubber and plastics, pharmaceuticals, food, printing, packaging and metal processing.

Smart Sensors
Delta’s new photoelectric and inductive sensors provide multiple sensing methods and detection distances. They can detect object movement, distance, dimensions and speed. With compact designs and an IP67 protection rating, the sensors are suitable for various industrial production environments.

With extensive experience in industrial automation, Delta has developed a complete portfolio of automation solutions and is expanding towards system integration and smart manufacturing. During the launch event, the company also showcased a smart green manufacturing solution integrating its SCADA system DIAView and industrial energy management system IEMS with the cloud platform DIACloud. This solution enables real-time monitoring, remote facility control and improved energy management.

The launch event received positive responses from industry guests who were impressed by the new products and solutions. Following the introduction of these six products, Delta plans to introduce more advanced automation solutions to the market in the future.
